Our Find and update company information service makes all of the public data we hold on companies available free of charge. You do not need to register to view company information through this service. The presenter can amend their registered email address and password by completing the process described on the service. They cannot delete the registered email address or password.

Policy papers and consultations
If we receive a complaint that the accounts do not comply with the Companies Act 2006 (or previous acts) in some way, we have a duty to draw this to the company’s attention. If appropriate, we’ll ask for a set of revised accounts which comply with the requirements. When Companies House examines accounts it only makes basic checks on them. For example, to make sure the appropriate documents are there, that they are for the correct financial year and that they have been authenticated. We carry out basic checks on documents received to make sure that they have been fully completed and signed.
